AUGMENTED REALITY

WHAT IS AUGMENTED REALITY?
MY REFLECTION ABOUT AUGMENTED REALITY.

Augmented Reality is one of today's most popular topics. The real-world environment and its contents, produced by the computer and phones; is a live or indirect physical appearance created by enriching with sound, image, graphics and GPS data. Thanks to AR, it gives a new perspective for the teachers and educators to make a effective environment in the classroom.

In fact, Augmented Reality applications can support the development of students 'imagination and creativity, and they can offer a fun way of learning at the learning level by increasing students' perceptions of the real world and their interaction with the real world. And, perhaps, the use of visual objects in 3D applications increases the interest of students and increases their participation in the course and motivates them. According to my observations, the attention of today's children has begun to attract more technological tools than pen and paper (primitive things), and the old methods are boring because they can start using them from a very early age. It's easier for us to take notes on the computer or the phone, not just the children of today, but even me and my friends. Using 3D visual objects increases the interest of students and increases their participation and motivates them. They can even support different perspectives on issues.

There may be advantages or disadvantages of using AR in the classroom environment. But I think I'm in favor of using it when we think we're in 2019 and technology is incredibly improved. Perhaps the use of AR in the classroom may change the environment in the classroom, the desired information may not be fully transferred, the students may be distracted but the teacher can handle this situation.

Thanks to Ar,

-Students' learning requests may increase,

-Adapt the learning materials according to the learning situation,

-Students' motivations may increase and they may be willing to learn…
